FreeTV is set to revolutionize how households interact with TV and on-demand media, offering over 50+ live channels and an extensive on-demand content library.
FreeTV, a collaboration between Keshet and R.G.E, aimed to create a seamless TV and on-demand media experience.
Challenge
Our primary challenge for FreeTV involved two critical areas:
first, crafting a comprehensive UX/UI design that accommodates Hebrew's right-to-left orientation, ensuring a seamless user experience across all platforms, including Smart TV, mobile, and desktop;
second, guiding FreeTV in finding a suitable technology partner capable of executing their ambitious product roadmap.
Solution
From the outset, we played a strategic consultancy role, focusing on delivering an intuitive and engaging user experience, with a strong emphasis on content and onboarding. This approach was aimed at exceeding user expectations, minimizing churn, and maximizing engagement.
Our team developed user-friendly and captivating interfaces, with special consideration for Hebrew's right-to-left design requirements. This highlighted the universal applicability of our UX insights. By concentrating on a seamless content experience and smooth onboarding process, we ensured that users could easily navigate and enjoy FreeTV's offerings across all platforms.
Result
Launching in early June 2023, FreeTV quickly exceeded its initial subscriber target within just 10 weeks. This rapid success validated our strategic approach and confirmed the product's strong market fit. We continue to refine and expand FreeTV's offerings, consistently enhancing user satisfaction and engagement.
